Do I need a FlazhPay account to receive money?

No. Anyone with a bank account can receive a FlazhPay payment — the money lands directly in their existing bank account and they get an SMS receipt. Receiving is always free, with or without an account.

Does FlazhPay hold my money?

Never. FlazhPay has no wallet. Payments move bank-to-bank over NIBSS NIP, the national instant payment rail, initiated by a CBN-licensed partner bank. Your money goes from your bank account to theirs — it is never parked with us.

What does FlazhPay cost?

Receiving is always free. Sending is free for your first 15 sends each month, then ₦15 per send. Businesses pay a flat ₦1,500/month for unlimited sends plus merchant tools. Standard bank transfer fees may apply per your bank's normal NIP charges.

How does paying by voice work?

Tap Voice Pay and let the recipient say their bank details naturally — local accents, abbreviations, and mixed-language names are fine. FlazhPay's AI resolves what was said to a real account, NIBSS confirms the registered account name, and you review everything before confirming with your fingerprint. If anything doesn't match, you simply don't confirm — no payment ever sends automatically.

How do I authorize FlazhPay to send from my bank account?

During setup you approve a one-time digital authorization with your own bank: enter your account details, receive an OTP from your bank, and confirm. It takes minutes, there's no bank visit, and there's no charge to you.

You stay in control — you can revoke the authorization at any time through your bank (banks apply a standard 14-day notice period).

Which banks are supported?

You can pay into any bank account, nationwide. To send from your account, your bank needs to support digital direct-debit authorization — 19 commercial banks do today, including GTBank, Access, Zenith, First Bank, UBA, and more. You'll see the full list during setup.

What is my Trust Score?

A number from 0–1000 that reflects your verified activity on the network. Your exact number is private — only you see it. Others see your band only: Building, Fair, Good, or Excellent. It grows with verified identity and consistent payment history.

What if I have a problem with a payment?

Open the transaction in your history and tap Raise a dispute. Our AI assistant works from your actual transaction record and resolves most cases in minutes; anything it can't resolve goes straight to our team. You can chat in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa.

Is my data safe?

Bank details are tokenized and encrypted. Verification selfies are never stored — only an irreversible mathematical embedding. All our AI runs on our own infrastructure under the NDPA 2023 data-protection framework; your data is never sent to external AI providers. See our NDPA compliance statement.
